Church Partnerships
A collaborative and integrative approach to partnership with local faith communities for the flourishing of the people of God.
You don’t
have to choose
between counseling
and your faith experience
to find healing.
Psychologically sound, theologically & spiritually integrated support
for those who wrestle deeply, seek healing, and
long to grow into who they are becoming.
Partnering with the local church
for the flourishing of the people of God.
As we are formed as followers of Jesus, we need many experiences, people, and contexts in which to heal and grow.
We need pastors and those who disciple us.
We need friends and companions.
We need prayer and learning.
We believe that counseling can also be an instrumental and even integral part of our formation.
In this way, therapy is not only psychological work, but spiritual.
Healing a spiritual work, and theological work, as it is physical, emotional, and relational.
That is why we have chosen to partner with local churches to provide three distinct, psychologically focused, theologically-rooted resources to support the healing, formation, and growth of those who participate in one of our partners churches:
Introductory webinars for those curious about counseling and how the world of psychology works from a theological perspective.
Counseling for individuals, couples, and families seeking healing and growth.
Story-Telling Communities to integrate healing into our church body, form stronger friendships, and develop the skills to share our stories and receive those of others in transformational ways.
Pathways to Growth
Engagement: Counseling
Individual, couples, and family
Available for individuals, couples, and families seeking support, healing, and growth.
People often suffer less from what is wrong with them than from what in them has never been shepherded toward growth.
The aim of therapy is not only symptom relief, but the formation of a life capable of carrying love, power, grief, and responsibility with greater steadiness.
Integration: Groups
Church-Specific Story-Telling Community
An 8-week, church-specific therapy group for individuals who have already engaged individual or couples therapy.
Designed to deepen friendship, integrate healing, and develop skills, our counselors will guide the practices of giving and receiving story with others within a shared faith community in ways that develop trust, strengthen relationships, and further healing and transformation.
