BrianJames Therapy is grateful to partner with you for healing, formation, and growth - emotionally and spiritually.

At BrianJames Therapy we believe that counseling can be an instrumental part of the formation journey for followers of Jesus. That is why we have chosen to partner with local churches to provide more access to counseling services with trained clinicians who also follow Jesus.

The fact that you are here reflects your desire to grow and that you have already taken the first step of accessing this resource through your church. Well done. We recognize that it is always an act of courage to reach out for support.

Complete the intake form below. This is the first part of the process on our end to get you connected to the appropriate therapist for you. As you do, please make note of these elements:

1. Identify the price that is feasible for you.

   As you likely already know, BrianJames Therapy is offering 8 significantly discounted sessions to members of Bethel Family Church at two different levels of counseling experience. You can sign up for 8 initial sessions at a $20/session rate to work with our graduate student counseling interns, or for 8 initial sessions at a $65/session rate to work with our provisionally licensed therapists (to be used in consecutive weeks).

   Note: You are not limited to the initial 8 sessions, but will need to discuss ongoing cost with your counselor once the initial 8 sessions are completed.
   The standard rate for graduate student interns is $40/session and for provisionally licensed counselors is $95/session.

2. Tell us a little about the support you are looking for.

   This will help us identify the best counselor and level of care for you.

3. You can decided whether you prefer to receive counseling virtually via video calls, or in person in either our Blackwater or Lees Summit locations.

4. Because we believe counseling can be a part of discipleship and the formation process for followers of Jesus, you have the option to request your pastor follow up with you regarding your counseling process. This is completely optional.
