What I do as a therapist…

I work with pastors, therapists, and organizations to find healing from pain, overcome barriers to connection, unlock potential, and grow into who they are becoming.

In that work, I hold space to explore and facilitate empowerment and connection within and between individuals for healing, redemption, and wholeness.

I value the whole: the whole person, the whole story, and whole journey. Some of those moments, relationships, places, and experiences are beautiful. Some are tragic and painful. Many sit somewhere in between. No matter how disoriented, lost or pained one might be, at the center is life and beauty waiting to be rediscovered and reclaimed.

Session Information

Cost: $175/session

Frequency: can vary from multiple times per week to monthly. I find that the most productive therapeutic processes tend to occur when I am meeting with my patients at least once per week.

Insurances accepted: none

Session length: 45 minutes*
*While I find that in-person sessions are the most effective method of therapy, I recognize that sitting down together in the same room is not always an option. For those who are unable to make it to my office, video-sessions are available for individuals and couples in Missouri, California, Virginia, and Florida.

Therapy Information

I provide both short term counseling and long term psychotherapy. I am a certified Restoration Therapist and also have training in long-term psychotherapy working with unconscious experiences from a perspective called Intersubjective Psychotherapy. Restoration Therapy focuses on emotional regulation and establishing connection in relationship, while Intersubjectivity emphasizes using the therapeutic relationship to repair conscious and unconscious wounding that has occurred through relationships.

Qualifications and Certifications

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in both Missouri (#2019016325), California (#112178), and Virginia (0717001878).
I have received additional training in working with couples and am a certified Level 2 Restoration Therapist.
